Federal Citizen Information Center and Doctors Without Borders

The federal government has a relatively decent consumer information area... when you can locate it. To make it easy for everyone, I've actually tracked it down. Here it is: Federal Citizen Information Center.

There is a lot of information here, including something I recommend everyone send for, the free publication Preparing Makes Sense. Get Ready Now, which helps people put disaster plans into effect and get together disaster kits and such. Other popular government publications, some free and others not, are here.

On a different note, I've added Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) (the USA chapter), otherwise known as Doctors Without Borders, to the charities sidebar. I've been following this group for many years and was extremely pleased when they won the Nobel Peace prize in 1999.
