Veterans' Day

Although I have not served in the military, I have friends and classmates who have served or are serving. And, of course, no one can fail to miss the fact that all around the world, from all nations, soldiers have been deployed far from home.

Governments create conflicts and disagreements. Soldiers are the ones who have to carry out whatever mandate or course of action that their countries' leaders have determined... regardless of whether they believe in it or not, whether they like their leaders or not, even whether they might be fighting their own relatives or not.

To those men and women, past and present, as well as their families, I send my respects and deepest regards.
